BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with France amounted to 4,700 tons worth $103 million during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), Trend reports.
The non-oil trade between the two countries for the reporting period increased by 4.5 percent in value while decreasing by 8.97 percent in volume compared with the same time last year, as was reflected in the report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
So, the non-oil trade turnover between Iran and France was 5,150 tons worth approximately $98.6 million in the same period last Iranian year.
Over 5 months, the main goods traded between Iran and France were carpets, agricultural products, including dates, pistachios, saffron, and dried fruits, as well as various types of equipment and spare parts, various industrial products, medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, petrochemical products, etc.
In the 5th month alone (July 23 through August 22, 2023), Iran’s non-oil trade with France stood at 981 tons worth $23.4 million.
Overall, the value of Iran's non-oil trade turnover was over $43.5 billion within the first five months of the current Iranian year.
