Presentation of “Transport Sector Development Strategy in Azerbaijan” will take place on 16 November at the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan, the head of the transport policy
and economy department of the Azerbaijan’s Transport Ministry Sadraddin Mammadov told Trend.
According to him, representatives of the Transport Ministry, the Customs Committee, the Azerbaijan State Railway, the Caspian Shipping Company, AZAL State Concern, TRACECA transport corridor, Baku executive body, Baku chief police department will take part in the event. "The goal of the event is familiarization of the participants with the strategy’s components and to hold exchange of views. They may also put forward their proposals and references to be taken into account while developing the document”, he said.
"The Transport Sector Development Strategy in Azerbaijan” will be implemented on the $350,000 grant by the Asian Bank of Development. The British Scot Wilson will render consulting services in the developing of the document.
