Head of SCC receives IMF mission

On Wednesday Kamaladdin Heydarov, the chairman of the State Customs Committee (SCC), received the International monetary Fund (IMF) mission led by Vitaliy Kramarenko, the head of the IMF Department on Central Asia and Near East, Trend reports referring to the press release spread by SCC.

Heydarov informed the delegation about the statistics data on customs taxes and duties. He said that in 2004 the customs bodies transferred 1,303,3bn manats to the public budget against 17.4bn manats in 1994. The budget forecast on SCC was increased by 300bn manats and determined at 1,550bn manats or 45.5% over the last 11 months of 2005.

Heydarov also stressed that the revenues of SCC to the public budget comprised 1,757,680m manats and fulfilled by 100.4% from early 2005.

During the meeting Heydarov mentioned importance of the technical assistant rendered from 2004 to 2005.

In his turn, Kramarenko highly appreciated the measures taken by SCC and mentioned significance of the expansion of the cooperation hence.

The visit of the IMF mission to Baku will last from 30 November to 15 December.
