Launching Caspian ferry line to connect port Olya to Baku is scheduled to July 1, Trend reports. Main vessel to sail along this line is ferryboat Besteker Gara Garayev that sails under Azeri flag. It will be crossing Caspian Sea twice a month, on 1st and 15th day of each month. Main ports along the line are Olya and Baku and additional Anzali (Iran) and Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan).
Trend reports with reference to Caspian Marine Line that the said vessel is capable of carrying 60 KAMAZ trucks or 40 heavy trucks with trailers.
The sailing duration is nearly two days. All border and customs clearance will be performed in port Baku and in designation ports.
