According to the operative information, 1.83mln ton of grain-crops has been gathered in in Azerbaijan as of July 24, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture. The harvest was gathered in from 708k ha of area, 70% of total sown lands.
The productivity made 25.8 centner/ha.
According to the original information, grain-crops production in 2006 is forecasted in amount 2.2mln ton, from which 1.6mln ton is bread-grain. Amount of grain import is planned to be not less than 500k ton.
