Head of Azeri Caspian Shipping Company Re-Elected President of BINSA

The Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company informed Trend that the 10th meeting of the Black Sea International Ship-owners Association (BINSA) concluded its work in Baku. A memorandum was signed in the end of the meeting.

During the office term of Aydin Bashirov, the head of the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company, was prolonged in the post of the President of Association for 2 years more. Sergey Melashenko remained in the post of Secretary General. Yevgeniy Kozhevin, the President of the Black Sea Shipping Company, was elected the Vice President of the organization.

The meeting mulled the composition of the Association a report by the Secretariat on the work done in the period after the previous meeting of the Council BINSA, on financing of the Association, structure and composition of BINSA, changes into the Charter of

the organization, changes in the charter of the organization, business plan for 2006-2007, ABAROS project, election of the executive bodies, the agenda of the 11th meeting.

Attending the meeting were representatives from the marine administrations of Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine.
