Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patent of Azerbaijan, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will hold joint training courses within the preparations of Azerbaijan's entrance to the World Trade Organization. The courses will take place on 7-11 May in Baku and 14-18 May in Ganja. The aim of the courses is to provide information on the activities of the international epizootic bureau, international standards on protection of plants, improvement of food security and other issues.
The events will be attended by the representatives of the central administrations of several State bodies of Azerbaijan, including Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health and the State Statistics Committee.
