Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Minister Says Construction of Newly-Erected Buildings with Incorrect Standards Interrupted

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. U. Ismayilova/ Kamaladin Heydarov, Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Minister, has stated today that all cosntruction activities at those newly-erected buildings, which have incorrect standards has been interrupted.

"The future of these constructions will depend on judicial bodies of the Country, which are to hold investigations on the available facts together with employees of the Emergemcy Situation Ministry," said Mr. Heydarov.

According to the results of the researches and studies conducted by the Emergency Situations Ministry, many required standards have not been observed at many construction developments.

"Due to this fact, the construction of some of the newly-erected buildings, which have not received an expert reference from the central Department for Architecture and City-Planning of the Baku City Power, has been suspended," said the Emergency Situations Minister.
