Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / According to the CIS Inter-Governmental Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan took the first place among the CIS countries on the industrial growth rate in January-May, 2007. The industrial rate made up 36.1%.
Ukraine is in the second place (12.1%) and is followed by Tajikistan (8.4%), Kazakhstan (8.1%), Belarus (7.7%), Russia (7.4%), Kyrgyzstan (2.2%), and Armenia (1.2%).
Moldova experiences decrease in industrial growth rate, compared to 2006, (1.6%).
