Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The Complex Drilling Trust of SOCAR, finished drilling of two new wells on the Gunashli oil field, where SOCAR extracts more than half of its total production, SOCAR said.
Both of them are production wells. One of the wells was drilled to produce oil. The well to be operated on Gunashli 8 platform is expected to produce 200 tons of oil a day. It was drilled on Pereriv Svita in the depth of 2,956 meters.
The second well was drilled on Guneshli 19 platform and is allocated for gas production. It was drilled on the depth of 2,532 m in the 8th horizon of Balahani Svita. Daily production from the well is expected to reach 250,000 cu m a day .
