Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 Dec / Trend / France's large energy company Gaz de France-Suez is willing to promote transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe, Jean-Marie Doger, Senior Executive Vice Presidents of the company, said at his meeting with Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), in Baku.
According to Abdullayev, SOCAR will consider all proposals in this regard, should Gaz de France-Suez make any, and take a decision.
Since unification of Gaz de France and Suez the company has been ranking first in Europe in production of gas and electric power. The company is also engaged in Brazil, North America and a range of Asian countries.
Gaz de France-Suez possesses 15% of Azerbaijani Yalama offshore project. Participants in the project are LUCOIL - 65%, SOCAR - 20%, and Gaz de France - 15%.
