Iran has fully completed the work in the Alborz platform, which will become the first Iranian platform in the Caspian. In the near future, the platform will begin operating in the Caspian Sea, Director of the National Iranian Oil Company Seyfulla Dzhashnsaz said, news agency SHANA reported.
According to him, after the Alborz platform to be operated in the Caspian Sea, it is expected that production in the Iranian section of the Caspian Sea will be 200 million barrels of oil and 20 billion cubic meters of gas in 2009-2011.
