OPEC raises forecasts of Azerbaijan's oil supplies

OPEC forecasts the growth of Azerbaijani oil supplies by 60,000 barrels per day to 0.97 million barrels per day in 209. This represents increase of 8,000 barrels compared of the previous year.

OPEC June reports on the oil market says that the change of the forecast based on estimates of production in the first half of this year, according to which the country's oil supply for the period amounted to 0.91 million barrels per day. In the second quarter oil deliveries to the country amount to 0.99 million bpd in the third quarter - 0.96 million in the fourth quarter- 1 million barrels a day.

According to OPEC, Kazakhstan's oil deliveries in 2009 will grow by 80,000 barrels to 1.49 million bpd, an increase of 5,000 barrels per day higher than projected by earlier cartel earlier. Kazakhstan among the countries of the former Soviet Union remains the country with the highest expected growth in supply in 2009, which will occur through increased production at the Tengiz field. In the third quarter of this year's oil deliveries to the country amount to 1.4 million bpd in the fourth quarter - 1.58 million barrels per day

In May, the global oil supply increased by 90,000 barrels per day to 83.35 million. The volume of oil by non-OPEC countries fell by 40,000 barrels last month.
 
In 2009, OPEC predicted that the total supply of oil by non-OPEC countries will increase to 0.21 million barrels per day to 50.52 million barrels a day in 2009.
