SOCAR's Caspian Sea Oil Fleet transports over 300,000 tons of cargo

In January-June, the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transported roughly 309,000 tons of cargo which hits the predicted figure by 34,000 (12.3 percent) tons, SOCAR said.

In this period, 40 ships of the fleet worth around 13 million manat underwent repair. As for July 1, 14 ships of the oil fleet expect repair and 8 - allowance.

At present the oil fleet has 256 ships of different type and 7 floating means (floating docks). Some 192 ships of the fleet are currently in operation, and 42 are undergoing overhaul.
