Shell may increase its investments in the Azerbaijani economy, Dutch Foreign Ministry Secretary General Ed Kronenburg said.
"The possibility for Shell to invest more in the country was discussed with the Azerbaijani president," he added.
According to the official, Shell entered the Azerbaijani economy long ago and continues to maintain an interest in the economy.
In addition to the energy sector, the Netherlands is interested in the shipbuilding, transport, ecology and agriculture sectors.
