The oil price of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) inched upwards to 77.03 dollars towards the end of the week, the group said Friday, DPA reported.
The cartel's basket price gained 0.13 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Thursday.
OPEC's 12 members produce over 34 per cent of global oil supplies.
