Turkmenistan puts up for sale about 230,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan has put up for sale about 230,000 tons of oil products from refineries in Turkmenbashi, Seydi and gas processing complex in the area Naip at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Liquefied gas - 87.000 tons, kerosene - 15,000 tons, polypropylene - 2,000 tons, gasoline (A-92 and A-80) - 65.000 tons, naphtha - 10.000 tons, fuel oil - 50.000 tons were exhibited on the Stock Exchange.

About 56 transactions were concluded last week.

Businessmen from Afghanistan, Great Britain, UAE, Iran, Tajikistan, the Virgin Islands purchased liquefied gas, gasoline, hydrotreated diesel, fuel oil, polypropylene, straight-run gasoline.

Traditionally, the main buyers are businessmen from Switzerland, Holland, Russia and Kazakhstan and other countries.

Commodity Exchange serves as the principal body of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
