Main consumers increase petrol and bitumen reserves in Jan.-Aug.

Oil reserves of the main consumers of Azerbaijan totaled 340,000 tons, or 0.3 percent less than the same period of last year, as of Sept. 1, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.

As of Sept. 1, reserves of motor petrol amounted to 16.700 tons or7.7 percent more than in Jan.-Aug. 2009.

Reserves of the main consumers' diesel fuel amounted to 15.500 tons or 6.2 percent less than in Jan.-Aug. last year.

The volume of the major consumers' bitumen reserves totaled 5.300 tons or 17.7 percent more than in Jan.-Aug.2009.

The main consumers' reserves of coal amounted to 8.600 tons in Jan.-Aug. or 65.4 percent more than the same period last year.
