According to the latest report by the Central Bank of Iran, the nation's inflation in the Iranian calendar month of Azer (November 22 - December 21) stood at 10.1 percent.
The figure hit 10.1 percent in the period from December 2009 to December 2010 compared to the period from December 2008 to December 2009.
The inflation rate has risen this month to 10.1 percent from 9.7 percent last month.
The consumer price index for goods and services increased by 1.4 percent from November 22 - December 21 and by 12.8 percent compared to the same period last year, the Central Bank of Iran reported. The Iranian New Year begins in March.
According to the previous report by the Central Bank of Iran, the nation's inflation in the Iranian calendar month of Aban (October 23 - November 21) stood at 9.7 percent.
The inflation rate has risen this month to 9.7 percent from 9.2 percent last month.
