Iran to implement new plans to increase gas production

Iran will implement 50 new plans to increase production capacity of gas refineries and improve production stability, SHANA reported quoting Manager of Coordination and Supervision on Gas Production at the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Mehdi Jamshidi Dana as saying.

Iran implements 40 plans on optimizing consumption, foreign exchange saving, reducing energy consumption and preventing environmental pollution.

"An overall of 160 plans are being implemented in Iran's gas refineries while eight plans are related to production capacity building, 42 plans on stability of gas production, 20 optimizing gas consumption plans, 15 plans on environmental issues, 31 training plans and 41 plans on construction," he said.

The National Iranian Gas Company reviews the plans to establish data bank on spare parts. While eleven plans on optimizing energy consumption and designing another twelve plans are among NIGC's agenda.

It is expected that the gasoline production project increases country's revenues by producing 4.6 million liters gasoline per day according to EU standards Euro four.
