Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company (NHC) has announced a tender for the reconstruction of clean-up facilities of Fergana refinery with a maximum cost of 12.6 million euros, the Holding on Friday.
According to the report, the tender was announced for engineering and supply of turnkey of complete set of technological equipment, systems of oily wastewater, and technological node to record discharge of cleaned wastewater and control on quality for the clean-up facilities with a capacity of 16 million cubic meters per year.
The project will be funded by Uzbekneftegaz.
Ferghana refinery was commissioned in 1959. Today it produces about 60 kinds of oil products. The design capacity is 5.5 million tons of oil per year.
In 1999 Japanese Mitsui and Toyo Engineering carried out the reconstruction project of the plant worth $200 million at the expense of loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
