The Russian "Lukoil" company intends to invest $ 360 million in oil and gas assets in Kazakhstan through its "subsidiary" - "Lukoil Overseas Service BV", Lukoil Overseas Service BV director Andrew Kirillov said in an interview with Trend.
"Last year our company invested about $360 million in assets in Kazakhstan," he said. "We intend to invest at this level this year."
He recalled that the investments amounted to about $ 6.5 billion for all oil and gas assets during all the years of Lukoil's activity in Kazakhstan.
At present, Lukoil Overseas is present in Kazakhstan in seven mining projects - Tengiz, Karachaganak, Kumkol, Alibekmola-Kozhasai, North Buzachi,. Karakuduk and Arman , three exploration projects - Atash, Zhambai and Zaburuniye and one infrastructure project (CPC) in the territory of Kazakhstan.
