Naji Saadouni noted that an additional 50 thousand b/d increase in the second development phase has been offered to the National Oil Company, IRNA reported.
"National Oil Company board of directors has one month time to decide about suggested plan for 50 thousand b/d increase in oil production of Mansouri Oil Field till March 19," he said.
Director-General of Iran's Engineering and Development Company added that according to the beforehand program, Mansouri Oilfield had 92 percent progress and in the meantime, the desalination unit and as well the new exploitation unit had 81 percent progress till June.
Mansouri Oilfield is located about 60 kilometers north of the Persian Gulf and near the southwestern city of Ahvaz. This oil field's current production is up to 107 thousand b/d.
