Turkmenistan auctioned about 460,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
The country put as stock trades about 30,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, about 35,000 tons of gasoline, over 110,000 tons of diesel fuel, 40,000 tons of oil coke, about 20,000 tons of polypropylene, 10,000 tons of furnace oil, 80,000 tons of oil coke, 50,000 tons of fuel oil and 100,000 tons of kerosene, 20,000 tons of liquefied gas.
About 33 deals were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
Companies from UAE, Russia, Denmark, Tajikistan and the Virgin Islands bought polypropylene, black oil, diesel fuel, jet fuel and gasoline last week. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products exceeds $220 million.
The representatives from Azerbaijan, China, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Denmark, Kazakhstan and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.
The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
