Activities in the sphere of alternative and renewable energy sources requires special permission from the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan, the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources under Ministry of Energy told Trend on Wednesday.
Companies and investors should contact the Ministry of Energy for obtaining the proper permission in order to work in this sphere.
The permission is issued on the basis of analysis and examinations by the State Agency, as well as documents and offers submitted in this regard.
The state fee for permission is 100 manat.
The Cabinet of Ministers made a decision on Jan. 26 to introduce amendments to the list of electronic services, provided by the executive bodies in Azerbaijan.
According to the amendments in the list of services, provided by the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan, item 22.7 "Issue of special permission for the work in the sphere of alternative and renewable energy sources" was added to the list.
Forty-one state institutions entered the list under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, dated Nov 24, 2011, to approve "the Rules of providing electronic services in specific areas by the central bodies of executive power" and "List of types of electronic services".
The official exchange rate is 0.7863 AZN/USD on Feb 1.
