Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 78.41 billion cubic meters in 2011 compared to 76.853 billion cubic meters in 2010, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In December, 2011 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 6.41 billion cubic meters compared to 7.021 billion in November and 5.701 billion cubic meters in December, 2010.
Some 14.461 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in 2011 accounted for Central Asian gas compared to 22.202 billion cubic meters during in 2010.
In December, 2011 the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 0.938 billion cubic meters compared to 1.517 billion in December, 2010.
