Liquefied natural gas (LNG) production in Kazakhstan amounted to 171,000 tons in February, 2012 compared to 168,000 tons in February, 2011, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
The production of LNG in the country in February, 2012 is 6.2 percent less than the production of the previous month, and 1.5 percent more than in February, 2011.
In January-February, 2012 Kazakhstan's LNG production amounted to 353,000 tons.
LNG delivery to domestic market of Kazakhstan hit 51,000 tons in February, 2012, which is by 12.6 percent less than in the previous month and by 0.6 percent less than in February, 2011.
In January-February, 2012 LNG delivery to Kazakhstan's domestic market amounted to 109,000 tons.
Kazakhstan's LNG exports made up 109,700 tons in February, 2012.
