Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 25.912 billion cubic meters in January-April, 2012 compared to 24.595 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2011, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In April, 2012 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 7.066 billion cubic meters compared to 6.767 billion in March and 6.783 billion cubic meters in April, 2011.
Some 3.610 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in January-April, 2012 accounted for Central Asian gas compared to 5.355 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2011.
In April, 2012 the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 0.904 billion cubic meters compared to 1.737 billion in April, 2011.
