Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has today held a meeting with head of the board of directors of "Tebian electrical apparatus" company Zhang Xin in Beijing, Asia-Plus reported.
According to the presidential press service, the issues of construction and reconstruction of some power facilities in Tajikistan were discussed at the meeting. Particular attention was paid to the construction of transmission lines "Obi Garm-Dushanbe" and a new heat and power plant in Dushanbe.
The parties came to agreement that the construction of a new heat and power plant will be launched in the coming days and will be completed within one year in Dushanbe.
