Kazakhstan increased gas production by 15.1 percent in July 2012 compared to the same period of 2011 to 3.455 billion cubic meters in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
Compared to June 2012 Kazakhstan's gas production increased by 3.7 percent.
Natural gas production amounted to 1.74 billion cubic meters in July.
Kazakhstan's gas production amounted to 23.793 billion cubic meters in January-July 2012.
The gas extraction target was fulfilled by 98.4 percent in July, 2012.
Kazakhstan's domestic gas consumption amounted to 478 million cubic meters in June, 2012, which is 0.4 percent less than demand in the previous month and 2.4 percent more than in July, 2011.
