Azerigas Production Association (PA) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will direct all its efforts to the process of gasification and improvement of gas supply to Azerbaijan's central regions within the country's gasification, a source in Azerigas told Trend.
Azerigas PA said that, the gasification of the country and bringing this figure up to 90 percent are being gradually completed, and it can be said that in many regions these works have been completed.
"In many regions works have been already completed, some more works are still being carried out in the central regions, and all efforts are directed at the work here. All the necessary works will be conducted here to bring the level of gasification in the central regions to the country-wide level (90 per cent) by late 2013," the source said.
According to him after achieving a single level of gasification of 90 per cent, the works on the improvement of gas supply will continue, because the number of objects and residential buildings is continuously increasing.
"As for the capital, we may say that it has been gasified for 100 per cent. But the works in this direction are continuing because the number of the residential houses in the new areas and especially in the adjacent settlements of Baku is increasing," the source underlined.
According to him, after reaching the national level of gasification in a single strip 90 percent of the work to improve the gas supply will continue, since the number of facilities and residential buildings is growing.
"With regard to the capital, we can say that it is gasified at 100 percent. But as the number of residential home for the new site, and a feature in the adjacent village of Baku , growing, work in this direction continues ," - said the source .
