Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 10

Georgia receives most of its gas supplies from Azerbaijan, Georgian Prime Minister's special representative Zurab Abashidze told "Georgia-News" on Oct.10.
According to him, Georgia also receives, as a transit fee, 10% of gas shipped from Russia to Armenia through a pipeline running via Georgia.
"If the transit volume increases, we will be getting more gas, I do not see anything wrong with that. Our main gas supplier is Azerbaijan, which is our strategic partner," he added.
