Iran has supplied about 431.7 million liters of fuel to domestic airlines during the first three months of current fiscal year (started March 20), Ali Harandi, head of the Head Office for Fueling Airlines, affiliated to National Oil Products Distribution Company said.
The figure indicates an increase by five percent compared to the same period preceding year, Harandi said, the oil ministry’s official SHANA news agency reported July 3.
The official further said that the company has supplied about 60,860 flights with fuel during the 3-month period.
The figure is four percent more year on year, Harandi added.
Almost 138.4 million liters of fuel was supplied to the domestic airlines during the third calendar month of Khordad(May 20-June 20), 2.5 percent more year on year, he said.
