Baku, Azerbaijan, Feb. 27
By Maksim Tsurkov – Trend:
At least 160,000 tons of Azerbaijani oil will be shipped from Georgia’s Black Sea port of Supsa in March 2017, a source in Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR told Trend.
The oil will be shipped from the port in two consignments, 80,000 barrels each, the source said, adding that shipment of larger volumes of oil is possible.
Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli block of oil and gas fields is delivered to the Supsa port via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) is the pipeline’s operator.
