The Institute of Solar Energy of Turkmenistan, operating under the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, is carrying out activities on the use of alternative energy sources in crop production, as well as in livestock production in remote pastures of Karakum, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
Earlier, it was reported that Turkmenistan aims at exporting silicon to the world markets, which is the basic chemical element for creating equipment that allows receiving ecologically clean solar energy.
