SOCAR Energy Ukraine Ltd., a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, won a tender of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry for the supply of 5,000 tons of jet fuel worth $5.52 million, a source in SOCAR told Trend June 6.
SOCAR won one lot of the tender, according to the source.
The jet fuel should be supplied from August 1 until September 30, the source noted.
In 2017, SOCAR supplied about 12,000 tons of aviation kerosene to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
SOCAR is represented in Ukraine by SOCAR Energy Ukraine, and owns a network of 61 filling stations.
