SOCAR Fugro LLC is negotiating with various companies for new projects commencing in 2019 and beyond, Fikrat Aliyev, the director general of the company told Trend.
Aliyev noted that end clients will be involved in Azerbaijan’s offshore and onshore projects, Oil & Gas, greenfield (a project that lacks constraints imposed by prior work), brownfield (any previously developed land that is not currently in use), civil construction and other sectors related to surveys.
Further, he mentioned that the company is interested in projects in other Caspian countries and currently participates in tenders in the Caspian region.
SOCAR Fugro is a joint venture of the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR and the Netherlands' Fugro.
Among the services provided by the company are: geoscience, positioning, subsea, onshore and offshore geotechnical services.
The controlling stake of 51 percent belongs to SOCAR, 49 percent belongs to Fugro.
