Kazakhstan approves tariff for transportation of Russia's oil to China

Kazakhstan has approved the cost of transporting Russian oil through its territory to China, Trend reports citing RIA Novosti.

"By the order of the Energy Minister of Kazakhstan, the cost of transporting Russian oil in the amount of 10 million tons per year through the territory of Kazakhstan to China was approved in the amount of $15 per ton excluding VAT for 2019-2023," the press service of KazTransOil informed.

In addition, in the section Russian border–Kazakh border (Priirtyshsk)–Atasu (Kazakhstan), the cost of transportation will be $4.23 per ton excluding VAT, and in the section Atasu (Kazakhstan)–Alashankou (China) the tariff will be $10.77.
