Russian State Oil Company Zarubezhneft expects to participate in projects in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing RIA Novosti.
The head of the company Sergey Kudryashov said that the sides are preparing to sign the relevant agreements.
In April, Zarubezhneft and Uzbekneftegaz signed an agreement on the conditions for hydrocarbon production at the Khartoum, East Khartoum, and South Alamyshik fields in Uzbekistan. The companies signed an agreement as part of the Andijanpetro joint venture.
Zarubezhneft is a holding uniting more than 20 joint ventures and subsidiaries in various segments of the oil and gas business.
