US Epsilon boosts oil production in Uzbek wells

The US Epsilon Development Company LLC, together with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company, has begun restoration of emergency and low-production wells at the Shurtan group of fields in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Epsilon.

After hydraulic fracturing on Oct. 22 an oil inflow of up to 15 tons per day was obtained at the Rubayi-11 well; Yangi Koratepa-22 oil flow rate increased from 1 to 6 tons and gas increased from 10,000 to 50,000 cubic meters per day.

Moreover, on Oct. 20, hydraulic fracturing was conducted at well No. 22 of the Yangi Koratepa field and on Oct. 21 at well No. 11 of the Rubayi field, read the message.

Upon completion of work, all soil from the territory adjacent to the wells is collected in special metal containers for further reclamation.

The main activities of Epsilon Development Company are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons, flare gas and oil, and construction of industrial facilities and transport communications.

For the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, a consortium of investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company, and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).

In the framework of joint activities, Epsilon Development Company has already commenced large-scale exploration at the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana blocks.
