Over half of oil imports to Ukraine accounts for Azerbaijan

Last year, more than 76 percent of the value of Ukraine’s crude oil imports accounted for Azerbaijan, Trend reports with reference to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

Ukraine imported crude oil worth $309.4 million from Azerbaijan (a share of 76.3 percent), $91 million (22.4 percent) - from the US, $2.6 million (0.6 percent) - from Kazakhstan and $2.7 million (0.6 percent) - from other countries.

Last year, Ukraine increased import of oil and crude oil by 3.1 percent compared to the same period in 2018 - to 790,630 tons.

Last year, Ukraine imported oil worth $405.7 million, which is 6 percent less than in the same period in 2018 ($431.7 million).

“Ukraine exported 0,103 tons of oil and crude oil worth $0.053 million last year,” the report said. “The entire volume was delivered to Latvia in June.”
