Azerbaijan’s Azpetrol LLC, the biggest operator of the network of filling stations in Azerbaijan, plans to open next filling station in Baku in 2020, a source in the company told Trend.

“This year, one filling station was already opened in Azerbaijan’s Kurdamir district,” the source noted.

In total, the number of filling stations under the Azpetrol brand in 2019 amounted to 91.

The Azpetrol company opened its 92nd filling station “Kurdamir-ASAN” in the Kurdamir district on Feb. 12, 2020.

Currently, the company, covering the main economic zones of Azerbaijan, operates 87 petrol filling stations and five gas filling stations equipped with the most modern equipment. Four gas stations are located in Baku, one in the Gusar district.

Azpetrol Ltd. entered the Azerbaijani market with the commissioning of the first gas station in Baku on July 15, 1997. The company’s main activity is the sale of fuel wholesale and retail through petrol and gas stations.

In order to improve the quality of fuel and the continuous supply of fuel to petrol stations, Azpetrol commissioned a tank farm that meets modern requirements. The company’s tank farm is equipped with electronic equipment manufactured in leading European countries, fire safety systems and fuel quality control.
