Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow from the well #1 at new South Akkum field in Karakul district of Bukhara region, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.
As a result of drilling and perforation work, a new gas condensate field with daily flow rate between 150,000 and 200,000 cubic meters was discovered.
Earlier, Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow at new well #82 at Dayahatyn field of Gazli oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. The company received commercial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 80,000 cubic meters and one ton of gas condensate.
Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field it is operating and ensure the increase in gas production.
