Turkmenistan’s Turkmenoil exceeds expectations on aggregate services

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 25

The Balkan regional department for improving oil and gas wells of Turkmenistan’s Turkmenoil State Concern beat estimates for the provision of aggregate services at wells by 86.4 percent from January through July 2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

Services offered amounted to more than 61.9 million Turkmen manats ($17.6 million) during the reporting period.

Turkmenistan’s Turkmenoil plans to expand its cooperation with foreign companies to improve the efficiency of traditional oil deposits and develop new ones.

As reported, Turkmenistan surpassed projections of oil and gas condensate production from January through July 2020.

The oil and gas condensate production improved by 2.4 percent, natural and associated gas increased by 1.6 percent, gas exports rose by 0.4 percent, oil refining climbed by 3.7 percent, gasoline production grew by 2.3 percent, and diesel fuel production surged by 6.9 percent.

A decision was made to build new plants for processing raw materials, as well as modernize existing ones.
