The number of wells drilling at Azerbaijan's Gunashli field stood at nine, as compared to the planned ten, Trend reports citing Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR.
Reportedly, the drilling of nine wells was completed and eight wells were drilled and put into operation.
Three wells were drilled and commissioned from the deep-sea stationary platform #5 by the Integrated Drilling Trust. Additional well #365 from this platform is being drilled at the moment.
Four of the five planned wells were drilled from the deep-sea stationary platform #7 and were handed over to the customer. The exploration well #38 was drilled to a depth of 3,979 meters, however, the geological complexity didn’t allow to drill the well to the design depth.
One of the two planned wells were drilled and handed over to the customer from the platform #11. Another well with the design depth of 3,350 meters is being drilled successfully.
