Azerbaijani companies produced oil products worth over 2.2 billion manat (nearly $1.3 billion) in Baku from January through September 2020, a decrease of 5.4 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports, citing the Baku City Statistics Department.
During the reporting period, production of commercial oil in the mining sector was by 7.6 percent less than in the same period of last year, while production of commercial gas grew by 8.3 percent.
Meanwhile, commercial yield of crude oil amounted to 25.7 million tons, and commercial natural gas - 19.4 billion cubic meters.
In 2019, the volume of industrial goods and services in Baku increased by 0.7 percent compared to 2018 and amounted to 39.7 billion manat ($23.3 billion).
