A new collection point for natural gas and pipelines to deliver gas to the plant has been installed at the Doyakhotin field of Gazli oil and gas production department in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

Uzbekneftegaz JSC takes measures to increase the production of hydrocarbon raw materials and meet the needs of the population in natural gas at oil and gas production departments.

In particular, the installation of an additional collection point for natural gas and pipelines with a diameter of 426 millimeters was completed and put into operation to increase the volume of natural gas production at the Doyakhotin field.

It was noted that the purpose of construction and installation work is to prevent compression of natural gas in pipelines during transportation, produced from this field and to increase the efficiency of newly drilled wells.

According to the information, the Doyakhotin field was commissioned in 2004, and so far, natural gas produced from 21 wells in the field has been delivered to the Uchkir complex through one collection point via a Ø426 millimeters gas pipeline.

Some 21 wells were connected to the newly built and commissioned gathering point. The natural gas collected here will be transported to the Gazli gas processing plant via newly laid pipelines through a gas pretreatment unit at the Kulbeshkak field.

Uzbekneftegaz noted that as a result, the gas produced from the Doyakhotin field and processed at the device will be delivered to the plant in a high-quality condition, as well as increase the volume of gas production by 200,000 cubic meters per day.

It was reported that construction and installation works were carried out by the Zhanubgazkurilish Joint Stock Company construction and welding team.
