Uzbekneftegaz, Russia’s metallurgical company agree on expanding co-op

The Pipe Metallurgical Company (PMC) in Russia has agreed to expand cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz, the largest company in the oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Pipe Metallurgical Company.

According to the information, the parties discussed the joint implementation of projects for the development of the oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan and scientific and technical cooperation.

It was noted that the agreement was reached following the results of negotiations that took place in Moscow during the visit of partners from Uzbekistan.

The delegation of PMC was headed by the company's General Director Igor Korytko, while the Uzbek side was resented by the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullaev.

Korytko said that PMC successfully cooperates with enterprises of the energy sector of Uzbekistan, supplying partners with a line of pipes for oil and gas assortment.

"The innovative potential and production capabilities of our company allow us to offer high-tech products for the implementation of promising projects in the country, as well as work together with partners on new technologies for the oil and gas industry," he said.

The General Director of PMC also added that based on the results of negotiations a working group will be created with Uzbekneftegaz in the area to work out specific solutions.
