Uzbekneftegaz managed to reduce imports of material and technical resources through the use of internal resources when repairing equipment at enterprises, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Due to the fact that the long process of importing material and technical resources from abroad amid COVID-19 pandemic hinders the stable operation of installations at oil and gas enterprises, on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullayev, an inventory was carried out in the warehouses of all enterprises to meet the needs of enterprises in the required technical resources, in order to ensure the continuity of the production process.
According to the conclusions of the inventory, the need for 12 tons of ceramic balls for the next scheduled repairs at the Kukdumalok gas compressor station of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department and 0.5 tons of ceramic balls for the gas purification unit from the Gazli Oil and Gas Production Department was determined and provided through the supply of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant.
It was noted that the rest of the department's needs will be met through measures to reuse existing ceramic work balls. As a result of these efforts, economic efficiency and reduced product imports have been achieved.
It is reported that ceramic balls serve to distribute natural gas evenly over the adsorber and prevent the addition of zeolite grains to the gas.
