The Procurement Department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC introduced Inventory Management of Inventories, automated warehouse system 1C, to control the turnover of inventories, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
All the necessary information, announcements and procurement results conducted by the Procurement Department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC are available simultaneously on several special information portals (exarid.uz, tenderweek.com), and also regularly posted on the official website of Uzbekneftegaz JSC (ung.uz) in order to ensure transparency of procurement in the system and create a healthy competitive environment.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, the company was focused on local force in the procurement process in order to support local producers and save foreign exchange. Thus, about 1800 contracts were signed with local producers worth about 450 billion soums ($4.3 million) in 2020.
It was reported that meetings of the procurement commission were organized through video conferencing in order to timely provide the system with commodity and material resources (inventories) based on the statement of the president of Uzbekistan and in accordance with the instruction of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the results of the competition, about 90 winners of the competition with manufacturers (official dealers, distributors) were determined for a total amount of about $107 million. As a result of negotiations held within the framework of these tenders, the company achieved savings in the amount of about $23 million (21 percent of the total purchases).
Uzbekneftegaz noted that despite the worldwide epidemiological situation due to COVID-19 work has been completed on the construction of a propane-butane mixture production unit at the Mubarek gas processing plant, in the Shurtan oil and gas production department and in the Gazli oil and gas production department within the framework of investment projects.
In addition, the Procurement Department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC introduced Inventory Management of Inventory Resources, an automated warehouse system 1C, to control the turnover of inventory resources, prevent repeated purchases of goods and efficient use of existing inventories in warehouses.
As a result, a centralized accounting system was introduced for inventory resources available in the warehouses of enterprises, organizations and departments of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
